What is purpose? There are several definitions for the word purpose:
Something to attain, make use of something, to exist or to be done. Within our search of purpose, I think we are looking for use. How are we useful?
Many clients come to me in search of their life purpose. I truly believe that it is soul purpose that they are looking for. I also believe when we begin to have that gnawing within us, it is the soul knocking.
The soul saying hey, let's get to know one another. after all, life has a purpose every day. You are reading this right now on purpose.
I once heard Deepak Chopra say that "we are here to love, create and evolve."
That truly resonated with me. Love, to love all things and to be able to see the love in everyone and everything is truly divine intention. "A new command I give you: Love one another," John 13:34, This love isn't selective. It isn't for those that believe and live the way we do. It is for all beings, everyone with no exceptions.
We create daily, every experience is a creation, every moment we create. When we go into the stillness of prayer and meditation, we are creating that space. We are always creating thoughts, words, and action. Although some of these are created mindlessly, nevertheless they are created.
It is best to move through this life mindful and not mechanically. Being mindful and living in the now is a
process that we can create if we chose to.
Then we come to evolve... that I feel is when we enter soul purpose. We come into this life as an innocent beautiful baby, connected to our Divine Creator. Trusting that all our needs will be met.
Then something happens that brings us away from our true divine being. We step into the purpose of human programming. Our first purpose is to be son or daughter to our parents hear on Earth. We begin to learn and experience things for the first time through human eyes. We grow into a programmed belief of who we are and what is expected. We get the career and the home, become the wife or husband and it all becomes routine.
Then we realize that there is more to our being than what we have been taught. There is more purpose to life than having a dead-end job or living for the paycheck. That the college degree and corporate position, the house, the car, is what gives us value. Those things do not define us nor bring us peace.
This is when we get the shake up to wake up. We then return to our truth or soul being and our connected oneness to source and all things.
It is now the time to go within and reconnect with our Divine soul being. That is our Divine compass, which we lost at some point in this human form. We must begin reconnecting by taking time to readjust our conscious way of thinking. The programed humanness that has taken control is no longer serving us, creating emptiness within us.
This process takes time and should be a journey enjoyed. We must stay loving and kind to ourselves, always. There is no right or wrong in this process, it is what feels right for each as an individual. Notice, that I used the word feel and not think. Once we get in our heads, we lose the Divine connection. Although the journey can and will be confusing to us since itis all new and unfamiliar.
Seeking out assistance to move through the process could be helpful. There are many truly gifted spiritual healers, counselors, and advisors in this world. If your choice is to take that route, I advise to choose wisely and once again feel which one is right for you.
Embark on this new direction on your journey with open arms, an open heart, and a trusting as you move along your path.
I send you many blessings and love light or your journey.
